a give away!

UPDATE**

The contest is over, and Loveday's Day is the winner! Please send me an email with your address, and I'll get your Welcome sent right out.  Thanks so much for all of you who participated!

*********

This is a big moment in the life of my blog. I have never had a contest or give away of any kind, but with the help of my sister, Rachel, that's all changing today.  And what is up for grabs?

Not the door, but the writing on it. A Welcome vinyl applique of sorts for your door or anywhere else you would like to put it.  It's by a company called UpperCase Living, and before becoming acquainted with it last year, I had never seen anything like it.  I have several things around my house, and I love, love, love them!

This is a picture of my "Poppy" wall, and if you look right below the first shelf, you can see the UpperCase Living my sister designed for me with Poppy's name.  I was thrilled with how perfectly this fit the spot, and the price fit to, totaling up to less than $10.00!

In addition to walls, UpperCase can go on just about anything, like a tile, wood, a mirror, toy bins, buckets... I love that because it makes UpperCase a fantastic gift option as well.

Rachel has her own site on UpperCase Living, complete with picture of work she has installed in a number of homes.  I am crazy about how versatile this stuff really is because of the option to design your own custom piece.  The color, wording, font, size, and spacing are all up to you.

Now for the details: To win a Welcome sign similar to the one pictured above (same color, slightly different design), go to Rachel's UpperCase page and click on the Photo Corner tab.  Look through the photos, pick a favorite, and leave a comment under this post letting me which design you like best.  And it's as easy as that. I will pick a winner at 9:00 CST tomorrow night.

Happy Looking!

I LOVE Uppercase Living! My cousin sells it :o) My sister used it to decorate her baby's nursery and I have a few different ones in my house including "Give us this day our daily bread" in the kitchen, "Believe" in the guest room, and "Welcome" on the front door :o) I made really neat (and "cheap") coasters for my friends a couple Christmases ago. I have been wanting either "Be Still.." or "Be Still and Know that I am God" in my living room, but have not yet.

Have fun! Uppercase Living Rocks!
:o)

I think my favorite is the "Be Still and Know that I am God". But I have to say the one I'd love to have the most is the Welcome on the front door. How simply sweet and lovely it is.

Like them all but I believe the Give Thanks is my favorite. Isabella is a close 2nd!! I had seen other kinds of decorative writing but hadn't seen it on a headboard. What a neat idea!! Thanks for sharing. Loved your Poppy wall.

I am so happy to led me to this website! I have been trying to find a place that did these and never found anything I really liked, but these are great!

My favorite (it's so hard to pick just one) is "All because two people fell in love". I can imagine this on the wall with a bunch of pictures of my little boy! Too sweet!

This giveaway is a lovely idea!

I like the one that says "O Taste and see that the Lord is good." I think that would be great on a kitchen wall!

"How sweet are your words to my taste." I love the setting, the colors and the words. And of course I love the sentiment up for grabs... "Welcome" is one of my favorite words!

I loved the one that said, "Be Still and know that I am God."...looking through the other ones on the site I really liked the one that says "Loved you yesterday, always have, always will." Such a sweet sentiment.

They're all lovely, but "Be Still and Know That I Am God" is my favorite of those. Years ago, a dear older lady in my church told me that God had given her that scripture to give to me. She has since passed away and that scripture is still special to me.

I LOVE the frame with Dr. Rogers. So precious and I never thought about putting it on top of the glass. Your girls are little dolls, BTW.

This is tough, just picking one. I think I like "Be Still" just as so many other people like it too.

But I do like the welcome on the door. It's so, well, welcoming!

Blessed be the name of the Lord with the t.v. What a perfect spot for that one! My other favorite is actually the Welcome sign as I have been dying to have some uppercase living!

Hi Angie,
This is such a fun idea. I have been checking your blog since before Poppy was born and I just keep coming back :). My favorite Uppercase Living desing is the "For ever and ever" sign. My husband and I are closing soon on our first house and the welcome sign on the front door would be perfect for our first home!

Good luck with your decision!

I've never seen Uppercase Living before! These are gorgeous and I liked them all. However, because we are HUGE football fans, I have to choose the two helmets (Go DAWGS!). Of course to us UGA fans we just want those two teams to ram each other out of the way! haha

My favorite is the "Forever and Ever". What a great reminder when you are exhausted at the end of a day with toddlers that your relationship with the hubs is priceless!

My favorite one is Blessed be the name of the Lord and what an awesome place to put it right above the TV so maybe you won't be tempted to watch something that you shouldn't. Because then you are reminded Does this bless the Lord?
Wow Angie what an awesome thing. I had seen these things before but never really looked into them. They are awesome. Would love to have the Welcome on my front door.

While all of the designs are lovely, and the scriptures meaningful, I must say that as a life long (56 years), I "bleed orange and blue", Gator fan that I loved the helmets! So glad your sister is a fan of the defending national champs!

Have followed your story since before Poppy's birth and am blessed by your wisdom and maturity. I grew up in Florida just across the river from Merritt Island where your Poppa preached.
