Adrienne Christine

Today we got the call we've been waiting on. The birth mother chose us!! Barring anything unexpected, Adrienne Christine will come home soon! Please continue praying for the details. The birth mom will sign away her rights on Wednesday, so please be lifting her up right now!! But for now, I want to say with all my heart, "Thank you, Jesus!!"

Angie~
I've been following your story for sometime now, and for some reason, I just didn't feel right in posting a comment. I guess it's because your pain and grief have been so raw....and I'm a complete stranger...and I never wanted you to feel as though a stranger was intruding.

But today, I couldn't help but post. I've been praying for you, your husband, your precious daughter...and this unborn child. And then to stop by today, and read she'll be yours!!! PRAISE GOD!!!

I'm jumpin' up and down for you....I'll continue to pray...as I was (not so patiently) for more details.

Blessings to you, and your sweet...sweet....family.

It does my heart good to know that Adrienne and Poppy played together in heaven, and I know Poppy filled Adrienne in on all the love that is in store for her.

Having been in these shoes, as an adoptive mother waiting, I remember alot of the trepedation you are feeling.

Your post was very much as my heart was at the time...Lord, make sure this baby goes where you intend.

He knew my desire to be a mother. He knew the baby to come to our home. She is the right choice--she was made by Him. We experienced a situation that didn't work out...and as hurt as I was...I knew it wasn't for us, or the Lord would have made it so.

I just checked today and saw your last two posts. I will be praying for your family, for this precious birthmother, and the baby.

We were actually present when our child's birthmother signed the papers. It was absolutely the most powerful moment I've witnessed in my 37 years of life. In our case, it was an act of such unselfish love...it literally took my breath away. This wonderful woman has still had many heartbreaks...and we still pray for her daily.

Adoption is one of the most beautiful gift He bestows. Again, I'm praying for your family!
